Working with the best

In order to help make your transition to podiatry school as simple as possible, we have decided to work with some great companies to help you get what you need as cheap and simple as possible. This part of your life is expensive so we're working with organizations that are known for offering great products and services that you will be needing anyways. Doing this allows us to point out companies that are providing good deals for our website visitors as well as helps us keep our site alive.

You'll be seeing banners and links for things like flights and hotels as well as stuff that you may be needing to buy for school such as software, textbooks and computers. Please take the time to use these links and banners to get the deals we have arranged for you. You'll also be supporting our community.

Here are some of the organizations we are working with:

Ready, Set, Go!

runWith the 2009 - 2010 AACPMAS opening up in a few days (September 8th to be exact) I have furiously been trying to build this site so that it can help you (and me) through the application process. Since this website has ungone a radical shift over the last few weeks, most of the old content has been removed and replaced with podiatry-related news and facts. I have managed to make a small start toward compiling information about each of the schools and the areas they are located in. Of course, there is plenty more to do, but it will come as time allows.

Right now, you'll see that the forum is pretty much empty. That means that you need to start it up. Post your thoughts, questions for one another, and anything else you think is important. With a relatively small community of pre-podiatry students, we really need to look to one another for help. Lets get the site moving and soon there will be more to follow!

I expect that next week after I have completed my AACPMAS, I will give an overview of the application and what you can expect. I understand that podiatry schools are quick to interview so make sure you don't wait too long to get things moving.

Giving you the treatment you want

Although I have had to dedicate the majority of my time to the MCAT during the last several week, we have made some great strides. Curiosity has started to send people our direction despite the fact that we are not quite ready for a huge influx of visitors. This is a good thing and we hope that pretty soon the forum will be buzzing with new information and a ton of new users but for now just be patient because it is all coming. We will start working on generating traffic when MCAT studies are done (for us that is in August) and we have some of the really important information ready to go.

More is on its way!

As you can see, we have been putting in some serious time in order to get you the info you want right away. We're not quite ready for a massive release of the website but be assured that in the next few weeks everything will be on track. I have had to balance my time between finishing summer school, completing my AACOMAS application, and getting this site up and running.

I have nearly all of the School Profiles completed (although I will keep improving them with time as well as adding more details) and have enabled the ability for you to write comments about your experience with each of the schools. If you have lived or visited the area, please let everyone else know what it is like. Also, if you know anything about the school, add your insight and experience. I'm not attempting to answer every single question in my profiles so I hope that you will help each other out as well.
